INSTALLATION IS EZ
It’s virtually just a peel and stick.
If you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself get a second set of hands to help you. Your KidzSkinz
is made of a tough fabric that cant’t be ripped.
1. Remove your decal from the tube, and unroll it. You can apply your decal immediately after
receiving it. Pick a clear spot on your wall. Remember texture is not a problem for your KidzSkinz
decal. You may want to measure to make sure you have enough room.
2. Make sure the surface is CLEAN and free of excessive dust and debris! Dirty surfaces will compromise
the adhesion on the back of your decal. If you have to wash the surface, let the wall dry completely
before applying. NOTE: Do not clean the wall with any harsh chemicals or soaps. Some cleaners
leave a residue on the surface or can damage your paint.
3. Start by partially removing the decal from its backliner. Start partially removing your decal. We
recommend starting at the top. Adhere your decal at the top to the wall and smooth the KidzSkinz
out on the wall as you pull the liner back. Moving downward and smooth it out Should you need to,
you can always remove and re-stick to “smooth” it out. If you have a problem and your decal
accidently sticks to itself, don’t worry, just be patient and pull the sticky surfaces apart from each
other. You can virtually crumple it up, pull it apart and stick it to the wall.
4. Gently smooth out any bubbles in your decal.
Now Stand Back and Smile! Be Proud and Show off Your KidzSkinz!
Your decal can be applied to just about any wall surface. Just remember that the heavier the texture
the greater possibility that the texture will show through. The smoother the surface the better the adhesion.
Decals are meant for interior use and will last indefinitely indoors. They can go outside, however, their life
will be diminished after about 3 - 6 months. If you would like the same decal printed on vinyl to go outdoors,
we can provide that as well.
